Bryan Stanton
Vocalist
Bryan Stanton (he/they) is the Performing Arts Technical Manager for City College Center for the Arts. He has worked in educational theatre for the past six years, prior to that he worked as a Production Manager in theme park entertainment and as a performer. They have a Master of Fine Arts degree in Theatre Pedagogy with a focus on Culturally Responsive Pedagogy and Universal Design for learning, a Master of Arts degree in Legal Studies with a focus on Equal Protection under the law for LGBTQ+ people, and a Bachelor of Music degree in Voice Performance.
Outside of work Bryan and his husband have four kids with interests ranging from cheerleading to civil engineering. They are also the host of “Teaching While Queer,” a podcast where queer educators share their stories.
His goal is to find the theatre in daily life, make theatre accessible for all learners, and to always have a space for queer educator voices to be heard during times when people are actively trying to silence them.
