The QCTC Team

Founders

Meet our visionary creators and advocates, shaping theatre with bold narratives and diverse voices.

Aaron Paulley

Founder

Aaron (they/him) is one of the founders of QCTC, with a passion for storytelling, music, and building inclusive spaces in the arts. Growing up in a deeply religious community, he wrestled with questions of identity and faith, eventually finding freedom in his queer identity. Embracing his journey as a pansexual man, Aaron is dedicated to creating art that celebrates authenticity and diversity. Through QCTC, he hopes to inspire others on their own paths of self-discovery, using theater to amplify voices and champion the power of true, unapologetic expression.

Lisa Tricarico

Founder

Lisa (they/them) is a co-founder and co-artistic director of Queer Chaos Theatre Co. (QCTC), where they work to create an inclusive and supportive environment for artists and performers of all backgrounds. With a deep belief in the transformative power of theatre, Lisa is dedicated to fostering spaces for creative expression that empower both artists and audiences alike. They have been involved in theatre for most of their life, both on stage and behind the scenes, and have extensive experience working with youth in schools and community theatre. After a long hiatus, Lisa returned to the stage in 2023 with Trans Voices Cabaret, marking a personal and professional milestone. In addition to their artistic endeavors, Lisa holds a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and has completed graduate studies in Educational Theatre at Adelphi University, blending their passion for the arts with a commitment to mental health and education.

We strive to create a safe, inspiring space where queer identities and experiences are not just represented but embraced in all their complexity. By challenging norms, fostering artistic innovation, and amplifying underrepresented voices, we aim to spark dialogue, build community, and drive social change. Our productions explore the beauty and chaos of queer life, illuminating truths that connect us all.
